Avengers: Infinity War – Artist Reimagines The Avengers Shawarma Scene With Surviving Heroes

Six years ago, Joss Whedon and Marvel Studios pulled off the impossible and made a decent team-up film in the form of The Avengers. For the first time in film history, they brought together four leads from four different franchise to create one super-duper group to take on one major foe.

Lives were lost, fun was had, and at the end of it all, our heroes emerged victorious — tired, but victorious. In one famous post-credits scene, we got to see all see original members of the Avengers silently eating at a shawarma joint. if you’ve somehow forgotten that shot, check it out above.

Now, in a brilliant move, online artist Bosslogic (who should be followed by every superhero film geek out there) has gone on to reimagine that scene with the surviving heroes of Avengers: Infinity War. Check it out below:

As you can see, this image looks like it may also be paying homage to The Last Supper painting, but it’s definitely much more morose than its counterpart. In addition to all the heroes we saw in the film, it also features Hawkeye, Ant-Man, and Captain Marvel, who didn’t show up in the flick.

Another nice touch is the Revolution poster featuring Korg from Thor: Ragnarok — who, as far as we know, did NOT survive the snap.

What do you think of this darker take on the original concept? Let us know down below!
