Avengers: Infinity War Trailer 2 & Poster: The End Is Near

It’s been a long-time coming, but the fateful day of April 27 is almost near. We’ve watched these dozens of characters evolve and change over the course of their own franchises and others. Now comes the time for them to clash with the ultimate villain in the Mad Titan Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.

In this new trailer, we see a great deal of action, some fun interaction between all the different Avengers, and an indication that we’ll be getting a flashback of sorts with Thanos and one of his daughters, Gamora. As hinted at by the filmmakers, it does seem that Thanos has an air of altruism about him in this interpretation, and I’m interested to see just how much we’ll sympathize with him.

Below is the official synopsis for Avengers: Infinity War:

“An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.

Anthony and Joe Russo direct the film, which is produced by Kevin Feige. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee are the executive producers. Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely wrote the screenplay. “Avengers: Infinity War” releases in U.S. theaters on April 27, 2018.”

Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on April 27, 2018.
