Todays Avengers themed rumor roundup brings Barside Buzz on undercover Doom, Magneto as Doomsday‘s MVP and Black Panther casting. As with all Barside Buzz marked articles this is not trade news folks, but insider gossip. If you have not read LRM before, then my policy is to only cover the insiders, and scoopers with the best long term hit rates. However, pinch of salt with any rumor you read here.

Let’s start with Undercover Boss Doom,

MTTSH claims that Doom will be posing as one of the good guys in Avengers: Doomsday.

“Victor asks the Fantastic Four for help with the Incursions. They travel together with Steve Rogers to the MCU in their ship to warn everyone, then join forces to head to the X-Men universe – the source of the next Incursion that will destroy their Earths. They have a plan to fix everything.”

The scooper also added that Rogers and Thor will later team up, to go look for Loki.

MTTSH also recently posted this rumor below. However, this is one that we’ve covered before and it was her who made that claim already. Awks.

Secondly, this time from Daniel RPK.

Daniel says he’s heard Magento and Sentry are the MVP’s of Avengers: Doomsday.

Daniel is also reporting on his Patreon that F1: The Movie star Damson Idris has also spoken with Marvel about the recasting of Black Panther. Daniel says a new Black Panther is due to show up in Secret Wars and that it’s this role Marvel are casting for. Rumors have also said Lanterns star Aaron Pierre was spoken to as well about the role.  Therefore, I would not be surprised if this is legit. Idris does seem more gettable than Pierre considering he’s just begun his role as the DCU’s main Green Lantern hero, probably for years to come.

Lastly Daniel also claims Gwyneth Paltrow will have a small role in Secret Wars as Pepper Potts.
