Bad Boys For Life: Martin Lawrence Confirms He And Will Smith Are Returning

Is this real life? For God knows how long, we have been giving periodic updates on the status of Bad Boys 3, aka Bad Boys for Life. The threequel would supposedly be bringing back Martin Lawrence and Will Smith, but over the years, its’s slipped through more filmmakers’ fingers than I can even count. And in spite of all this, the actors have always seemed optimistic about the film’s prospect. Now it seems like it’s really happening.

Yes, the film has had a duo of directors on board for some time now, and yes, Will Smith had already expressed his desire to return, but Martin Lawrence, as of late, hadn’t said much of anything, making me wonder whether or not he’d actually be on board. And if he wasn’t we know that’d throw a wrench in the story, make them have to throw together yet another script…

Luckily, that isn’t happening, as Martin Lawrence revealed via Instagram.

That’s right. Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett are back in action. They may be a little bit older, but they’re likely still ready to kick some crime ass and walk away from explosions without looking back. You know, the kind of stuff that really flew in the early 2000s and late 90s.

On board to director are Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, who most recently worked on the film Gangsta. Are you happy to see Bad Boys for Life finally happening? Let us know your thoughts down below!
