Batman Day 2020 Details

Batman Day

Batman Day 2020

Batman has been the most celebrated superhero these last few years, probably in all of the comic books. 2019 was a full year of celebrations as DC’s cash cow turned 80 years old during WonderCon. The following month was the 1000th issue of Detective Comics. Then for Batman Day, there was a variety of events all around the world to celebrate the Dark Knight.

This year we still have one more milestone to celebrate, and that is the 1000th appearance of Batman in Detective Comics #1027. That book is scheduled to be released on September 15th. Besides that, we also have the annual Batman Day event that is usually celebrated at comic book shops around the world with special comic books and variants.

Today DC has announced the plans for this year’s Batman Day which will take place on September 19th. Fans of all ages will be able to participate in a wide range of Batman-themed activities to honor the iconic DC Super Hero (yes Jace I also consider Batman a Superhero). These include free digital comics, free activity kits for kids, and a virtual Batman 5K/10K Run/Walk. Also, you can enjoy a DC Super Hero or Super-Villain playlists on Spotify.

If that wasn’t enough the Waze app will be offering users the opportunity to drive along a Batman or Riddler theme starting from August 31st to October 31st. Divers can opt to ear directions from Batman voiced by the iconic Batman voice, Kevin Conroy. Along with a custom Batmobile icon and Batman mood.
