Wow. This is happening. CBS is finding a way to even more sickeningly make more money off of the likes of Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon, as was announced earlier today. Okay, that’s some hardcore hyperbole there, and to be perfectly honest, I have no problems with either The Big Bang Theory or Young Sheldon, though when news like the following hits, it’s hard not to raise your eyebrows with a little bit of skepticism over its potential quality.
The network has revealed that there would be a crossover episode that brings in a couple members of the cast of Young Sheldon to a December episode of The Big Bang Theory. Young Sheldon lead Iain Armitage, along with Lance Barber and Montana Jordan (who play his dad and older brother, respectively), will be somehow be joining in the mix.

As far as how this will be accomplished, that has yet to be revealed. Instinct tells us that it’ll be in some flashback form, but who’s to say they won’t do something weird like some sort of time thing. Given that the two series take place a solid 30 years apart from one another, it’s an obstacle that’ll need to be considered.
All in all, it’s fitting they’re doing this now, as The Big Bang Theory is on its final season — so if they want to milk that teet, they have to act quickly. Are you excited to see these two cross over? Let us know your thoughts down below!
