Bill & Ted Face The Music See The Duo Saving The World

I never would have thought that I’d want another Bill & Ted movie. We live with so many reboots and remakes that you’d think I’d be sick of them by now. However, there was something innately sweet and humanizing about the pitch we’ve heard from the filmmakers, and I really want to see what they came up with nearly thirty years after Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey.

Franchise writers Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon are back, and they’re continuing on the story that was sorta left off in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, where they learned their music would inspire a utopian future.

“They were told when they were teenagers that they were going to save reality, and they’ve been working on it the whole time,” Matheson told EW. “Now an emissary from the future comes and says, ‘You’ve got to do it right now. We’ve got literally 80 minutes or all of reality will come to an end.’”

But they’re not alone. They also have daughters Thea (Bill’s daughter) and Billie (Ted’s daughter), played by Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine, who love their dads’ music and want to help.

Kid Cudi will be playing a fictionalized version of himsefl, but one big returner is the Grim Reaper.

“Death was in the band in the second film,” director Dean Parisot said. “Things didn’t go all that well. But I’ll leave it at that!”
