Birds Of Prey Film Expected To Wrap Up Production Mid-April

With 2019 finally here, we are about two weeks away from the start of production on Warner Bros. Pictures’ Birds of Prey and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn in Los Angeles, California. The film is being directed by Cathy Yan and starring/producing Margot Robbie and it has been confirmed before that they are looking to make this an R-rated comic book film.

Thanks to HN Entertainment we also now know that they planning to wrap up production somewhere around April 13th. The film is scheduled to be released on Febuary 7th, 2020. Along with Robbie on the film, who is starring as Harley Quinn, is Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Helena Bertinelli aka Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell Dinah Lance aka Black Canary, Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya, Ewan McGregor as Roman Sionis as Black Mask, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain and Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz.

Given the great job that Christina Hodson did writing Paramount’s Bumblebee, I look forward to see what she has came up with for this film. The production team consists of cinematographer Matthew Libatique, who worked on Iron Man, Iron Man 2 and Venom, production designer K.K. Barrett, supervising art director Kasara Farahani, stunt coordinator Jonathan Eusebio and fight coordinator Jon Valera.

Here is a brief synopsis we have for Birds of Prey:
Birds of Prey will see Harley Quinn team up with DC Comics heroines Huntress and Black Canary against Batman antagonist Black Mask to save a young Cassandra Cain from his grasp.

I am very excited to see this project go into production and eventually getting our first looks at all these characters’ costumes. Are you looking forward to seeing this movie early next year? Let us know in the comment section below!
