Oh, the horrors of retail during the holidays. I still hate almost all Christmas songs because of my time working in retail. And the worst part of it was Black Friday. My first Black Friday, I was working in the fine jewelry department. No one wanted to buy fine jewelry, but chaos surrounded us. Also, it was one girl’s first day in our store and they stuck her behind a register alone and all I could to was watch. I couldn’t even get out of the jewelry bay, it was so packed. I grew up in a family that refused to participate so I had no idea how scary it was. Some get hurt and for others, it can be worse. The movie, Black Friday, is a holiday horror with aliens. The Black Friday official trailer was released and it’s the best Black Friday experience I’ve ever had.
Black Friday’s Synopsis
On Thanksgiving night, a group of disgruntled toy store employees begrudgingly arrive for work to open the store at midnight for the busiest shopping day of the year. Meanwhile, an alien parasite crashes to Earth in a meteor. This group of misfits led by store manager Jonathan (Bruce Campbell) and longtime employee Ken (Devon Sawa) soon finds themselves battling against hordes of holiday shoppers who have been turned into monstrous creatures hellbent on a murderous rampage on Black Friday.

“I don’t think this night can get any worse.” Never say that! It’s funny that they play a Bublé-esque song in the trailer. At one of the stores I worked at, one of employees played the same Michael Bublé album every time she worked and she played the entire CD… If I started my shift at around the same time as her, I had to hear it the whole time. Black Friday stars Bruce Campbell, Devon Sewa, Ivana Baquero, Michael Jai White, and Ryan Lee. Check it out in theaters on November 19.
