The Black Widow movie is Natasha Romanoff’s first and possibly only solo film. Director, Cate Shortland, confirmed that the MCU film has been finished and untouched for a year. The film was supposed to be released in theaters on May 2020. Due to the pandemic, the movie was delayed. Black Widow will now release on July 9 in theaters and Disney+ the same day.

What The Movie Is About
Black Widow is set in between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. After Civil War, Natasha Romanoff is on the run. She has unfinished business and reunites with her family. Together, they will attempt to take down the Red Room and Taskmaster. Taskmaster is the one running the Red Room.
We will, of course, see Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow along with Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova. Additionally, Melina Vostokoff and Alexei Shostakov are played by Rachel Weisz and David Harbour. We will also be seeing Pugh’s character in the Hawkeye miniseries later this year.
Vanity Fair reported that Julia Louis-Dreyfus was to debut her character, Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, in Black Widow. Her character was first seen in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
The MCU has given us fans a lot to enjoy and more to come. The first episode of Loki will be released on June 9 and the animated series, What If, later this year.
