“Blue Beetle” has a wonderful cast that no doubt cares about bringing to light what makes Latinos special. Especially when it comes to the relationships with our families. We get glimpses of that in this final trailer along with Jamie Reyes’ struggle to become the Blue Beetle.
Along with that, we see some of the adversaries that he will be facing which include Raoul Max Trujillo as Carapax and Oscar winner Susan Sarandon as Victoria Kord.

Here is the synopsis for DC’s “Blue Beetle”
From Warner Bros. Pictures comes the feature film “Blue Beetle,” marking the DC Super Hero’s first time on the big screen. The film, directed by Angel Manuel Soto, stars Xolo Maridueña in the title role as well as his alter ego, Jaime Reyes.
Recent college grad Jaime Reyes returns home full of aspirations for his future, only to find that home is not quite as he left it. As he searches to find his purpose in the world, fate intervenes when Jaime unexpectedly finds himself in possession of an ancient relic of alien biotechnology: the Scarab.

When the Scarab suddenly chooses Jaime to be its symbiotic host, he is bestowed with an incredible suit of armor capable of extraordinary and unpredictable powers, forever changing his destiny as he becomes the Super Hero BLUE BEETLE.
The film is directed by Angel Manuel Soto, based on a screenplay by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer. John Rickard and Zev Foreman are producing, with Walter Hamada, Galen Vaisman, and Garrett Grant serving as executive producers.

“Blue Beetle” is going to be a perfect way to wrap up the summer. Jamie Reyes is a great character played by Maridueña that a lot of people are familiar with thanks to Netflix, who is partnered with an actor that a lot of us grew up with in George Lopez.
DC’s “Blue Beetle” soars into theaters on August 18, 2023.
