Bootyology | Joe Eddy, Spencer Yaras, and Chris Lightbody on Making a Mockumentary on Music and Butts

Bootyology with Spencer Yaras and Chris Lightbody

There is an obsession with buttocks in rap music. Spencer Yaras and Chris Lightbody made fun of this music trend years ago. Now, with director Joe Eddy, they crafted a narrative comedic film, Bootyology, that mocked this musical world while serving as a satire of social and cultural trends of today.

Here is the description of the film:

When a documentary crew sets out to explore the relationship between artificial intelligence and popular music, their journey takes a turn when they stumble across a mystery involving the disappearance of infamous rap duo, The Booty Boys. Based on the real-life act by Spencer (“sixxxHole”) and Chris (“brownEye”) from the early 2000s, Bootyology explores these characters as they navigate the current film industry—tackling themes from political correctness to the influence of AI.

Lightbody and Yaras serve as the main leads for the film. Other cast members include Alysha Young, Dave Theune, Megan Duffy, Andy Kindler, Aris Alvarado, Robert J. Steinmiller Jr., and Brian Austin Green as himself.
