It appears as if Mike Judge’s beloved lawn-care-happy Hank Hill along with his buddies may be returning to television according to Brent Forrester, who was a producer from 1997-2004 of the series’ original run. Forrester really participated in a Reddit Ask Me Anything where he revealed that King of the Hill revival talks are happening. You can check out what he had to say below.
“I am sure Greg Daniels and Mike Judge will murder me for sharing this but… HELL YES. They are in hot negotiations to bring back King of the Hill.”

Forrester also mentioned former President Trump as a reason for the revival talks.
“The Trump administration made it suddenly very relevant again. The characters have all aged 15 years. The project is sooooo good. Okay I’ve said too much :)”
Mike Judge hasn’t confirmed Forrester’s comments one way or the other. However, considering Forrester’s credits as a producer on King of the Hill as well as The Office I am inclined to believe him. Assuming that talks are indeed taking place, that doesn’t guarantee the show will return, but taking into account its popularity, it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see Hank and friends back on the screen engaged in a discussion of, “Yup.”
The series’ original run spanned from 1997-2013
