Brie Larson may be known as the most powerful being in the universe as Captain Marvel.

However, the one-time Oscar winner had to audition for roles like most of Hollywood.

Yesterday, the actress created a YouTube channel to showcase her thoughts and collaboration with other YouTubers. In her first video, she revealed some of the significant roles she auditioned and lost out on. And they’re in the big films of Star Wars, Terminator and The Hunger Games.

“I auditioned for Star Wars. I auditioned for Hunger Games. I auditioned for the Terminator reboot,” she said in her video. “I actually was thinking about the Terminator reboot today because I got a flat tire, and I was like, ‘Oh, the last time I got a flat tire was when I was driving into my audition for Terminator. Got a flat tire at the audition, and then didn’t get the job.”

It’s assumed she auditioned for the lead roles, in which Jennifer Lawrence landed as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games and Emilia Clarke as Sarah Conner in Terminator Genisys. It’s not known which role or Star Wars movie she auditioned for.

She even talked about her personality in challenging herself to create this channel.

“People know me so much through another lens, through a director’s vision, through a photographer, and it’s fine. It’s totally fine. I’m interested in that too,” she stated. “For me, my baseline has been ‘I’m an introvert with asthma.’ That’s been my story for myself. I’m introverted. I’m scared. I have social anxiety. And through like in particular playing Captain Marvel that kind of wiped, clean those titles I had for myself and made me go, ‘Whoa! I’m not really that anymore.”

Her first YouTube video revealed much more about her craftiness and geek side of things. She discussed with iJustine and Lilly Singh about her love for video games. Larson revealed she plays Animal Crossing, Fortnite her first love of Super Mario on the Nintendo systems.

The 21-minute video already garnered over 600,000 views on YouTube within the first 24 hours of its publication. Other collaborators in her video included Mitchell Moffit and Gregory Brown of ASAPScience, actress Jessie Ennis, make-up artist Nina Park, Hot Ones host Sean Evans, YouTuber Kelly Stamps of, hairstylist Bryce Scarlett, YouTuber Swoozie, YouTuber Michelle Khare, YouTuber Lauren Riihimaki, YouTuber Juanpa Zurita, personal trainer Jason Walsh, and her mom.

For now, the only official project on her schedule is her return for the sequel to Captain Marvel. Hopefully, she’ll broadcast some cool behind the scenes stuff from that set once it begins production.
