Brooklyn Nine-Nine is one of those shows that was briefly canceled. Originally a part of Fox, a couple of years back, the network pulled the plug on it, giving NBC an opportunity to swoop in and save the day, giving us a slightly shorter Season 6 — but a new season nonetheless. And it wasn’t too long before it got confirmed for a seventh season. But how high would this birdie fly?
The official Brooklyn Nine-Nine Twitter account posted a video where the cast and crew were told that they would be coming back for yet another season in everyone’s favorite police precinct. Check out the video below!

This means that Brooklyn Nine-Nine will have at least three seasons at NBC, really cementing its place as one of the many great comedies to come out of the network.
This announcement comes ahead of its Season 7 premiere, which is slated for February 6, 2020 with an hourlong episode at 8 PM. Sadly, this season will only run 13 episodes, but now with Season 8 on its way, we at least know there’s more to come.
