Bruce Campbell, a B-movie legend has now been tasked with hosting the all new Ripley’s Believe it or Not which will air on the Travel Channel. The show, which brings the weird and wild to your screen has always been popular among folks who enjoy stories of oddities. Other iterations of the show were formerly hosted by Dean Cain, among others. Campbell had the following to say in a statement.
“As an actor, I’ve always been drawn toward material that is more ‘fantastic’ in nature, so I was eager and excited to partner with Travel Channel and Ripley’s Believe It or Not! on this new show. And because amazing things happen all around the world, we should have no shortage of unbelievable stories to share with a fresh new audience.

The revival of the show will consist of “10 all-new, one-hour episodes that will showcase the most astonishing, real and one-of-a-kind stories.”
General manager of Travel Channel, Jane Latman had this to say about the reboot:
“This entirely new version of Ripley’s is a fresh contemporary approach to the odd and unusual and will be jam-packed with larger-than-life characters, cool facts, history and science.”
Campbell is probably most famous for starring as Ash in the Evil Dead franchise. He was also a big supporting character on USA network’s Burn Notice, which ran for several seasons. I think he’s a great fit, no stranger to paranormal stories Campbell should do fine as host.
