Josh Duhamel And Dan Bekkedahl Bro Down In Buddy Games [Exclusive Interview]

Dan Bekkedahl and Josh Duhamel star in the new guys film, Buddy Games. Duhamel’s directorial debut is based on his personal annual weekend of games and debauchery.

 

The Synopsis:

Josh Duhamel (Transformers) stars in this wild and hilarious, no-holds-barred comedy.  After six lifelong friends have a five year falling out, Bob (Duhamel), aka “The Bobfather”, reunites his pals for the Buddy Games, an insane competition of absurd physical and mental challenges with the chance to win a $150,000 pot. Now all bets are off, as the determined dudes fight, claw, and party for the big bucks in this star-studded bro-fest featuring Dax Shepard (CHiPs), Olivia Munn (Office Christmas Party) and Kevin Dillon (Entourage).

Dan Bekkedahl is an improvisational comedian and received recognition while performing at the Improve Olympic in Chicago. His big television gig was as a correspondent for The Daily Show With Jon Stewart. After that he made several sitcom appearances in shows like HBO’s Veep and Life in Pieces on CBS.  At the same time he acted in films, The Heat and Trumbo.

Josh Duhamel began his career as a model before becoming the actor, writer, director and producer he is today. His first appearance was as an extra for Christina Aguilera’s music video, “Genie in a Bottle”. Duhamel’s acting debut was in ABC daytime soap opera All My Child and television series Las Vegas. When it comes to films he is recognized for being a part of four of the six Transformers films. Plus movies like Safe Haven, When in Rome and now with his directorial debut with Buddy Games. Soon he will be seen on the new Netflix series, Jupiter’s Legacy.

I had a fun Zoom chat with Dan Bekkedahl and Josh Duhame to discuss Buddy Games. Bekkedahl talked about being seriously injured during one of the games. They both shared having friends in real life that relate to some of the buddies personalities and bravely answered the unexpected question.
