Caddo Lake Trailer Has A Haunting Mystery in the Swamplands

Dylan O'Brien in Caddo Lake

The swamps are a haunting, eerie place. With shadows and darkness from its trees and vegetation, plenty of mysteries lurk beneath the waters in the upcoming thriller Caddo Lake.

The film stars Dylan O’Brien (Teen Wolf, The Maze Runner), Eliza Scanlen (Little Women, Sharp Objects), Diana Hopper (Goliath, Bit), Caroline Falk (Caroline), Sam Hennings (Four Good Days, The Neon Highway), with Eric Lange (Escape at Dannemora, Narcos), and Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under, Psycho Beach Party).

Celine Held and Logan George (Servant) directed and wrote the film.

Here’s the logline for the film:

When an eight-year-old girl mysteriously vanishes, a series of past deaths and disappearances start to link together, forever altering a broken family’s history.

The filmmakers came across this creepy lake online between Texas and Louisiana. The Southern swamps have inspired many thrillers and horror films, so it’s a perfect setting for a mystery thriller like Caddo Lake. Not to mention, the filmmakers reteamed with M. Night Shyamalan as a producer.

Caddo Lake debuts on Max on Thursday, October 10.
