‘CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR’ Will Screen at CinemaCon

Last year’s AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON was a big film. Yet as anticipated as that one was, I can’t help but feel that fans may be even more excited for Cap’s latest adventure in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR. Early buzz has been hugely positive for the flick, and it never hurts to see Robert Downey Jr. return to the big screen in the role that made him a household name.

As of this writing, we are currently a little over a month away from the film’s release, but some lucky industry folks may be in for a real treat at this year’s CinemaCon, a motion picture theater industry event that runs April 11-14 this year.

According to ScreenDaily, Disney is planning to screen CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR on April 13 at this year’s CinemaCon in Las Vegas. More specifically, they are screening the film at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace on April 13, 2016.

This move on Disney and Marvel’s part really proves how much faith they have in the film, and we couldn’t be more envious of those who get to lay their eyes on it before its May release! But who knows? We may end up with some early reactions from the screening. One can hope!

“Marvel’s CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

Marvel’s CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR stars Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Emily VanCamp, Don Cheadle, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd and Frank Grillo, with William Hurt and Daniel Brühl, as well as Tom Holland as Spider-Man.”

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR hits theaters on May 6, 2016.
