Captain America: New World Order Shoots In Spring Plus Some Rumors On Other Marvel Shoot Dates
Marvel producer Nate Moore has confirmed that Captain America: New World Order shoots in Spring. Plus, we have some insider rumors on other Marvel shoot dates for Thunderbolts and Fantastic Four. First, let’s look at the official news as we now know when Captain America: New World Order will shoot.
Speaking with Collider following the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Moore was asked what his next Marvel project was? Saying it was Captain America: New World Order, Moore went on to give a development update.
“We are in pre-production. We start shooting next spring.”
Moore then offered a tease for the movie’s plot.
“Well, look, Sam Wilson’s Captain America, he is going to bring his own team to play. It’s no secret that Samuel Sterns is making his return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is fantastic because Tim Blake Nelson’s the best. Harrison Ford is taking on the role of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, and to see Sam Wilson and Thunderbolt Ross – which if you remember actually threw him in prison at the end of Civil War because he violated the Sokovia Accords. There’s going to be some natural sparks there, which I think are going to be really fun.”
Rumors
Now into the Barside Buzz. According to insider Daniel RPK on his Patreon service, Thunderbolts will shoot in June, 2023 and Fantastic Four will start filming in January of 2024. For now this is just rumor, but neither of these dates are particularly surprising. Ergo, this information is highly likely to be accurate, as of now anyway.
Given how the cast has come together for Thunderbolts recently you always felt like the shoot was planned already with a workable script. The cast for Thunderbolts were revealed at D23 this year and later it was confirmed that Harrison Ford would replace William Hurt as ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross after the latter’s sad passing. As you can see fro the quote above, Ford will first play Ross in New World Order.

As for Fantastic Four? Well the casting of the main roles is fast becoming one of the biggest teases in the movie business. However for now, all we know is that the movie will be directed by Matt Shakman. However we do expect to get a full cast announcement next year. Ergo, January 2024 feels about right for now.
