Captain Marvel: First Image Of Brie Larson In Full Costume

While full-on principal photography hasn’t quite begun, Captain Marvel has started some early production days that will pick up once again in March. It looks like Page Six was able to snag some photos from the set of the film, and in it, we see star Brie Larson in full costume — though the color scheme isn’t one you may expect.

Check out the image below:

While Captain Marvel (at least this version) is more known for her red, gold, and blue attire, this is obviously not that. This strange color scheme is more reminiscent of the green attire that makes up Mar-Vell’s original costume (though it is worth noting that the design itself is pretty darn faithful, even if the color scheme isn’t).

This makes a lot of sense, as from what we know of the plot, it is set to bring in Mar-Vell into the Carol Danvers origin story. Whenever dealing with these origin stories, you can pretty much expect the character to work through two or more costumes. Thanks to earlier reports from our friends over at MCU Exchange, we already knew that would be the case, so we expect this to be one of at least a few from Carol.
