Captain Marvel Trailer 1 — In Chronological Order!

Trailers are a funny thing. They are obviously meant to sell a product — a movie, to be exact. However, sometimes the best way of doing that is to actually show scenes from the film out of order. In distilling the story down to its core components, somehow jumbling bits occasionally works. However, things become a bit more complex when a film is clearly being told out of order.

This is the case with Marvel Studios’ next opus, Captain Marvel. We know that the film won’t be a traditional origin story. As far as we can tell, she’ll have her abilities when the story begins, but we will be witnessing flashbacks throughout the story until we get a full picture of the entire story. If it wasn’t quite clear which scenes fell where, it’s okay. One YouTuber has your back.

In the video, we get to see the entirety of the trailer (well, most of it) in chronological order. In it, we can see the character’s evolution from a young girl, to a pilot, to a member of Starforce, and eventually, defender of Earth.
