Carlito Olivero joins the Escape Room franchise in Escape Room: Tournament of Champions. Will he survive this experience?
The Synopsis
Escape Room: Tournament of Champions is the sequel to the box office hit psychological thriller that terrified audiences around the world. In this installment, six people unwittingly find themselves locked in another series of escape rooms, slowly uncovering what they have in common to survive…and discovering they’ve all played the game before.
Carlito Olivero’s career started in music when he won a spot in the Latin boy band Menudo. He later auditioned for The X Factor and with Paulina Rubio as a mentor won third place. Music has continued to be part of his career. Last year he released the single Sun Burns Out.
After Menudo, Olivero moved to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. He started on the small screen with minor roles. His debut on film was in We The Party and years later he joined the successful Hulu original series East Los High. At the same time he worked on indie films like Making Moves and Bad Samaritan. Escape Room: Tournament of Champions is his first big budget film.

I had the opportunity to speak to Carlito Olivero via Zoom to talk about Escape Room: Tournament of Champions. He shared his excitement to be a part of a big film and now franchise. In addition to speaking about life as an actor and of course about his music.
