Starring acclaimed Mexican actor and singer Pedro Fernández (“Until The End Of Time, La Niña De La Mochila Azul”), Telemundo’s first-ever period Super Series™ Malverde: El Santo Patrón (Malverde: The Patron Saint) centers around Jesus Malverde, one of the biggest and most controversial Mexican characters of the last 150 years, who ultimately became a legendary figure, a religious icon, and protector of the innocent, poor and dispossessed.
The Mexican actress Carolina Miranda started her career appearing in several soap operas before the successful television series. Her first appearance on the small screen was in 2012 Los Rey. Soon enough she received the first protagonist role as Carmen Bravo in Las Bravo where she gained national recognition. In 2016, she joined Telemundo’s popular series Señora Acero (Lady Of Steel) after Blanca Soto made an exit after the second season. Miranda maintained international popularity for the following three seasons. Since then she’s won several awards including the 2018 Best Actress in Los México Awards. The talented actress was last seen in the Netflix hit, Who Killed Sara?
