Cast and Director Address Rural Poverty Story in Small Time [Exclusive Interview]

Audrey Grace Marshall in Small Time

Rural America has little focus on the media and Hollywood. With skyrocketing poverty, drugs, and crime, life in rural areas of America is as tough as living in urban cities. The film Small Time is a narrative film of a young girl living her life in innocence despite the impoverished drug settings surrounding her.

The film stars Audrey Grace Marshall, Holter Graham, Dominique Johnson, Kevin Loreque, Maria Hasen, Elissa Middleton, Sina Rassi, and Jason Gratkowski. Niav Conty directed and wrote the movie.

Here is the short synopsis of Small Time:

It can be brutal enough just growing up a girl. Then add poverty, addiction, and God to the mix. Armed with a gun and a prayer, Emma and her cat bravely go where too many girls have gone before.
