Catching Up With Kevin Chacon From Santiago Of The Seas [Exclusive Interview]

Santiago of the Seas

Santiago of the Seas from Nickelodeon has been a great animated television show for kids. There has always been something so alluring about the adventures of a pirate. The idea of sailing the high seas and finding buried treasure is part of pirate lore that we all love. Now mix that in with some wonderful life lessons and we have a show!

In Santiago of the Seas, we follow Santiago and his crew. They consist of Tomas and Lorelai. They all work together to guard their home of Isla Encanto from no good bad pirates like Bonnie Bones and her sidekick Sir Butterscotch. The series was created by Niki Lopez, Leslie Valdes, and Valerie Walsh Valdes.

It has been almost a year since the release of Santiago of the Seas. When the series was first going to be released we talked with one of the creators, Niki Lopez, and star Kevin Chacon. LRM Online’s Emmanuel Gomez caught up with Kevin about his lead role of the voice of Santiago. In our conversation, we talked about his growth working on this series. During which time he was nominated for an Imagen Award.
