Catwoman To Be Voiced By Sanaa Lathan In DC Universe’s Harley Quinn

Personally I have really enjoyed the original series from DC Universe the live action Titans, Doom Patrol and now Swamp Thing. Also let’s not forget the third season of the animated Young Justice which is free from the shackles of Cartoon Network. Another animated series coming to the DC Universe streaming service this fall is the adult oriented Harley Quinn starring The Big Bang Theory‘s Kaley Cuoco as the voice of the Queen-pin of Crime.

We don’t know too much about the series so far other than the already mentioned fact that it will not be suitable for kids and that this will showcase Harley distancing herself from the Joker, something I can’t wait to see. Last fall at New York Comic Con, we saw a short trailer from DC Universe with Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy, who is voiced by Lake Bell. Now thanks to BlackFilm we have word on who will be voicing another friend of both Harley and Ivy, Selina Kyle aka Catwoman in the series.

During a conversation with director Malcom D. Lee at the American Black Film Festival last week, Sanaa Lathan reveled that she would be the voice of the on and off love of Batman and master theif. She will join the cast which include the two voice actresses already mentioned above, Alan Tudyk as The Joker, Diedrich Bader as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Rahul Kohli as Dr. Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow, Tony Hale as Dr. Edgar Cizko/Doctor Psycho, Christopher Meloni as Commissioner Jim Gordon along with JB Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales and Jim Rash. Cuoco is also onboard as an executive producer for the animated series via her Yes, Norman Productions along with Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey.

What do you think of the voice cast of Harley Quinn? Let us know in the comment section below!
