What would you do if a mysterious benefactor gifts a mansion under one condition that you would not open the door to the cellar?
That’s the prime dilemma of a married couple as they enter into a mysterious psychological thriller with so many unexpected twists and turns in Cellar Door.
The film stars Jordana Brewster (The Fast and the Furious, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning), Scott Speedman (Underworld, The Strangers), Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix, Contagion), Chris Conner (Horizon: An American Saga—Chapter 2, Altered Carbon), and Katie O’Grady (Portlandia, Metal Lords).
Vaughn Stein directed the movie from the screenplay by Sam Scott and Lori Evans Taylor.
Here is the official synopsis of Cellar Door:
Looking for a fresh start after a miscarriage, a couple (Brewster and Speedman) find themselves being gifted the house of their dreams from a wealthy homeowner (Fishburne) with one caveat—they can never open the cellar door. Whether they can live without knowing triggers shocking consequences.
