When 33 Chilean miners became trapped underground while on a project, the story captivated the world. For 69 days, they fought for their lives and worked to escape, as rescue teams on the outside dealt with challenges of their own trying to get them out. The 33, or Los 33, will tell the tale of what happened during those 69 days, as these men banded together and found a way to survive despite the terrible odds.

Starring Antonio Banderas, Lou Diamond Phillips, Gabriel Byrne, Juliette Binoche, and Rodrigo Santoro, the film is set to come out soon- with no formal release date currently listed for the project. But here’s a trailer:

The 33 was helmed by Mexican director Patricia Riggen (Revolución, Girl In Progress).
