This Halloween season, we’re getting lots of scary and unnerving movies and TV series, but we’re also getting fun projects as well. The Muppets Haunted Mansion special is coming soon and Disney just dropped the official trailer. So get your popcorn and sugary nibblets ready and enjoy the Muppets’ “spook-tacular” Halloween special on Disney+ soon.

Muppets Haunted Mansion

The Great Gonzo – world famous daredevil artiste, has done it all, seen it all, and survived it all. But on Halloween night, the fearless Gonzo takes on the greatest challenge of his life by spending one very daring night in the most grim grinning place on Earth …The Haunted Mansion. Inspired by all four of the iconic Disney Haunted Mansion attractions located across the globe at various Disney Parks, the “Muppets Haunted Mansion” includes many hidden easter eggs for Disney fans and “Muppet-ized” sets and props that help immerse viewers in the storytelling experience. This marks the Muppets’ first-ever Halloween special and features three new original songs, “Rest In Peace,” “Life Hereafter” and “Tie The Knot Tango”, a star-studded Muppets cast, celebrity cameos, and spooky fun for families to enjoy together.

Celebrity cameos like Will Arnett, Taraji P. Henson, Darren Criss, and Yvette Nicole Brown. Other celebrities in the Halloween special are Alfonso Ribeiro, Danny Trejo, and John Stamos. I’ve really enjoyed the celebrity cameos The Muppets have given us over the years.

This feels so much like the classic Muppets. The comedy is just right and the trailer is a lot of fun. Having Gonzo the Great and Pepe the King Prawn as the main duo was an interesting choice. But I wish they would have given Pepe more lines in the trailer. He’s such a great character. Although, it is hard to get every star a moment to shine in less than two minutes. It’s a big cast to work with. Muppets Haunted Mansion will stream on Disney+ on October 8.
