Greg Berlanti may not have been a part of Smallville, but when he picked up the DC Comics baton over at The CW Network he kept one of that show’s traditions very much alive: Epic cameos from past DC’s past.

Supergirl, which is about to begin its second season on a new home- switching from CBS to The CW- just had a major cameo filmed, and there’s a cool picture below to prove it. The original Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter, who played her on the hit 70s TV series, will be making an appearance on Supergirl

Here’s a behind-the-scenes pic of Melissa Benoist, aka Supergirl, with Carter:

In a nod to her important stature within the DC community, and the fact that she was really the first live-action heroine to capture the world’s imagination, Carter will be playing the President of The United States in her appearance.

Supergirl returns on October 10.
