Chip ‘N’ Dale

Our two favorite chipmunks from Walt Disney Animation are back for a new cartoon series called Chip ‘N’ Dale: Park Life. Chip and Dale made many childhood impressions and memories as they get into certain shenanigans over nuts.

This new animated series features three short seven-minute cartoons in each episode. The whole series feature twelve episodes that’ll air weekly on Disney+ starting next Wednesday, July 28.

Here’s the official synopsis for Chip ‘N’ Dale: Park Life:

Two troublemakers, Chip and Dale, trying to live the good life in a big city park while having giant-sized, sky-high adventures. Nervous worrier Chip and laid-back dreamer Dale make the perfect odd couple: they’re best buddies and they drive each other nuts. In their perpetual pursuit of acorns, these ultimate underdogs are joined by Pluto, Butch, and other iconic Disney characters as they face down bullies great and small.

The Disney+ original series is produced by Marc du Pontavice and directed by Jean Cayrol at Xilam Animation. Vincent Artaud serves as the series composer.

Chip ‘n’ Dale has been around for nearly eighty years and countless generations of children grew up with these chipmunks from The Walt Disney Company. The pair went through many reiterations of animation from hand-drawn to computer animations. With this trailer from this new series, it looks like they’re going in another direction for the animation.

The only thing to get used to is plenty of giggling from the chipmunks and it doesn’t appear they will be talking. However, I am looking forward to seeing Pluto, Donald Duck, and many Disney characters back in an animated series again.

Chip ‘N’ Dale: Park Life makes its premiere on Disney+ on Wednesday, July 28.
