CinemaCon 2019: Anthony and Joe Russo Press Conference at CinemaCon Awards

It’s not the end game. Only the beginning.

Anthony and Joe Russo are making big strides in their directing careers. With Avengers: Endgame being released this month, it is anticipated to be the highest grossing film of 2019 and perhaps in one of the all-time grossing theatrical runs.

The brothers have an extensive history with Marvel Studios in directing story and action driven comic films with Avengers: Infinity War, Captain America: Civil War and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. They directed television episodes for Community, Happy Endings and Arrested Development.

With this as an extensive directing history, it is about time CinemaCon recognized their achievements for generating billions at the box office.

LRM Online was in attendance last week to the press conference before the Russo Brothers received their award for CinemaCon Directors of the Year.
