Review:
Now that we’ve got the set up on just what this HULK (Who’s totally awesome btw) is about, we can move forward into a new story arc. That’s exactly what Greg Pak has started up here, as seemingly Amora the Enchantress has taken an interest in Amadeus Cho’s Hulk. Suffering from black outs and seemingly fits of uncontrolled rage, it appears Amadeus is losing his grip over the big green guy, which has his sister all sorts of worried and Cho on the defensive. A surprise visit at the end of the issue leads me to believe we will be getting a fun team up next time around. While Pak’s storytelling is simple, it’s effective-whereas Mike Choi just kills it on the art! He’s making Hulk vibrant and fun, all the while keeping all the intensity and fury a Hulk book needs! Now we’ve got Enchantress in the mix and I can’t wait to see how Choi continues to portray her. Frank Martin’s colors also need a shout out here, as his background work truly feels alive with beautiful shades and hues.

The Hey!: Greg Pak keeps the Hulk train rolling and while I’m still upset over the very weak explanation on how Cho was able to “absorb†the Hulk into himself and leave Banner alone, I’ll give it a pass for now.
-
The Eh: I’m still waiting to see Cho’s genius stand out more as in this series he continues to sort of just come off as a wise cracking kid, and less this brilliant mind who should be a few steps ahead of everyone.

The What?!: Is it bad the “What!†I’m excited for in this issue is the team up coming up NEXT issue?
