Criminal Record Sneak Peek Clip Has Detectives Re-Opening Case Due to Emergency Call

Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo in Apple TV+ Series Criminal Record

Criminal Record is a different kind of cop drama. One police officer is trying to seek justice with a wrongfully convicted man. At the same time, another detective is trying to preserve his legacy without admitting a mistake.

And it is a chess game with two detectives while the villains are still on the loose.

The eight-episode Apple TV+ series stars Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo in the tug-of-war battle over a murder conviction.

Here is the description of the series:

From BAFTA Award nominee Paul Rutman (Vera, Indian Summer), Criminal Record is a powerful, character-driven thriller set in the heart of contemporary London. An anonymous phone call draws two brilliant detectives into a confrontation over an old murder case—one a young woman in the early stages of her career, the other a well-connected man determined to protect his legacy.

The series also stars Charlie Creed-Miles (King Arthur, Wild Bill), Dionne Brown (The Walk-In), Shaun Dooley (Official Secret, The Woman in Black), Stephen Campbell-Moore (The Bank Job, Season of the Witch), Zoë Wanamaker (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, My Week with Marilyn), Rasaq Kukoyi (Andor, His House), Maisie Ayres (The Undeclared War), Cathy Tyson (Mona Lisa), and Tom Moutchi (Famalam).
