Nicholas Tse is a genuine action star. In his latest film, Customs Frontline, he fights on boats, dangles from a helicopter, and even submerses in the water. The Hong Kong film has all the makings to put you on the edge of your seat.
The film also stars Jacky Cheung (Once Upon A Time in China), Karen Lam (Dragon Blade, American Girl), Yase Liu (Limbo, I Did it My Way), Francis Ng (Once Upon A Time in Hong Kong, Infernal Affairs II).
Here is the official synopsis for Customs Frontline:
After boarding an unauthorized cargo ship and finding its entire crew dead, Hong Kong customs officers discover a hidden cache of illegal weapons and trace them back to an ongoing and highly volatile international conflict. But when elite agents go undercover aboard to locate the source of the smuggled firearms, they uncover a complex transnational operation with roots far closer to home than they ever imagined.
