Cyberpunk 2077 World Map Leaks Early – Check It Out

It’s definitely one of the biggest games releasing this year. Now we can see where we will be playing as the Cyberpunk 2077 world map leaks early. Check out the Twitter post below from The Tiny. They seem to have picked this up from IGN Middle East. This shows the map of Night City, where the Cyberpunk game will take place. Check it out.

Welcome to Night City! The map itself geographically looks rather similar to the map from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, made by the same devs CDPR. However, there the similarities end. The Witcher is a great map for a fantasy setting, i.e. a lot of open space. However, with Cyberpunk, we are talking a futuristic City and therefore I expect this map to be even more jam packed than that of GTA5.

In terms of map size, it’s hard to say. It seems like every open world game has to have a bigger maps, but really that’s not true. Some games have maps filled with nothing but decoration. In The Witcher 3, the great thing was how many secrets and side quests were hidden away in that world. I expect that side of things to be ramped up even more in Cyberpunk 2077.

I’m not planning to get Cyberpunk right away when it launches on November 19th. However, I will 100% be getting the game for the Xbox Series X, as soon as I can find some time to play it. I have absolute faith that CDPR have made this the best game they can, they are just that good a studio. I can’t wait to spend about 100 hours or more cutting about that map getting into adventures and stuff. Bring it on.
