Laura Kinney, or X-23, is Wolverine’s daughter and first appeared in the X-Men: Evolution television series (a great show by the way). Since then, she has appeared in several comic books, including her own self-titled series. And of course, she most notably appeared in 2017’s Logan.
Anyone who has seen Logan, knows what a stellar performance actress Dafne Keen gave as Laura/X-23. It’s bittersweet that Logan marks the end of an era with Hugh Jackman retiring as Wolverine. However, this may also be the beginning of an era for Keen playing the Laura/X-23 character.

In a recent interview with ComicBook.com, Keen was asked if she would like to continue playing X-23 should the opportunity arise for the character to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe:
“Yes, definitely. 100 percent.”
I hope Marvel is listening. Considering what an incredible display Keen gave us in Logan, I would really like to see her reprise her role in the MCU. While we are still speculating on who may be cast as the new MCU X-Men, perhaps they could work the Laura as a Wolverine clone angle, or maybe even make X-23 be this universe’s main Wolverine. The possibilities are endless.
