Although Everything Everywhere All at Once made history this past film awards season, industry diversity still has a long way to go in representing minorities.
At WonderCon 2023, a panelist from the industry ranging from award-winning rights to a martial artist consultant, discusses the growth of diverse representation and their future at awards shows in the Diversity in Films and Award Shows panel.
Hosted by pop culture historian Jessica Tseang, she discusses diversity with Everything Everywhere All at Once fight choreographer Daniel Mah and award-winning writer The Red Navel Sam Khushal about the state of the industry in seeking diversity.
The panel occurred this past weekend at WonderCon 2023, attended by thousands of comic book and pop culture fans.
