The series marks the return of both Cox and D’Onofrio to their fan-favorite roles, with Cox portraying Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer turned vigilante, and D’Onofrio reprising his role as Wilson Fisk, the ruthless Kingpin of New York City. The two actors, who famously faced off in previous seasons, are set to reignite their rivalry in this new chapter of Marvel’s television universe.
During the panel, Marvel Studios production and development executive Sana Amanat joined Marvel Editor-in-Chief C.B. Cebulski to discuss the show’s connection to New York City, a key setting for both the character of Daredevil and Marvel’s broader universe. Amanat highlighted the significance of filming season one on location in New York, paying homage to Marvel’s deep roots in the city’s culture and storytelling.
