Daredevil: Netflix Creates A Brother For Foggy Nelson In Season 3

Daredevil Season 3 hits Netflix today, and one of the more unexpected additions to this season is Foggy Nelson’s brother Theo. The reason this is unexpected is that this will be the first time in any form of media that Foggy Nelson has had a brother. The character has been created for the show and never appeared in any previous comics or movies.

The report by Deadline states that Theo works at his parents local butcher shop in Hell’s Kitchen, and is nowhere near as career driven as his elder sibling. I won’t start watching Season 3 until this evening, so we have no real idea what drama ensues from adding in Foggy’s family to Season 3.

Peter Halpin made his debut in 1999 in the movie Angela’s Ashes. The native of Limerick, Ireland played Malachy Mc Court, brother of the author in the New York based movie. You can see from the image above that there is a resemblance between Halpin and Foggy actor Elden Henson.

Daredevil Season 3 looks set to follow the return of The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen after he was presumed dead at the finale of The Defenders by his crime fighting colleagues. However, Matt Murdoch must once again face off against his nemesis Kingpin AKA Wilson Fisk played by the brilliant Vincent D’Onofrio and a mysterious new player who is dressing up as Daredevil and giving the character a bad name.
