Initially, most folks expected Daredevil Season 3 to hit screens in 2019, then we heard from Disney themselves that the show would hit in 2018. So we thought maybe late November to December, then last week it was revealed that Season 3 of Daredevil would be hitting screens on October 19, only a month out from Iron Fist Season 2.

With the show almost upon us, fans are excited to see what Season 3 can bring, for most of us, Daredevil Season 1 was as good as the Marvel/Netflix shows have got. Season 2 whilst not quite as good was still far superior to most of the other Netflix shows set in the MCU. The good news is that the first early reaction to Season 3 of Daredevil hails it as the best of the Marvel/Netflix collaboration so far. JoBlo‘s Paul Shirey posted his reaction to the first 6 episodes on Twitter which you can see below.

I’ve seen the first six episodes of #Daredevil season 3 and they are awesome! If you are a fan of Miller’s Born Again run and classic DD villains then…you’re in for a treat. Can’t wait to see the rest of the season. Best of the Marvel Netflix shows BY FAR.

Of course, Shirey has only seen half of Season 3 and whilst that’s not enough to declare it the best just yet, it still remains high praise for the show, especially given how normally these shows improve in the second half of the season.

I don’t normally rush to watch or finish the Netflix MCU shows these days, I am still only on Episode 3 of Iron First Season 2. However Daredevil is one I will be watching on release day and I hope it really is as good as Shirey is claiming.
