Dark/Web Is Headed To San Diego Comic-Con!

A few years ago, LRM Online partnered with the creators of the Netflix film Circle to give you readers a chance to get your stories to the screen. We got a ton of submissions and great stories, and in the end, we selected one of the many amazing scripts to incorporate into an episode of the upcoming sci-fi series Dark/Web.

Yes, it’s been a long and arduous road, but that road is nearly at an end. We are happy to report that Dark/Web has been officially invited to have a panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con in July! We can’t reveal anything else at the moment, but know that if you’re headed to the con, we want a chance to see you all there!

Dark/Web is an original series that is both serialized and anthological in nature, with each episode consisting of a standalone segment that is woven into the serialized narrative. Below is the official synopsis for the tech-driven paranoia-filled drama:

“In the near future, the evolution of the internet has given way to a world in crisis; one where everyone’s connected and no one is safe. Molly Solis, a cyber securities analyst, understood these dangers better than anyone and was determined to find a way to keep people protected… until she vanished without a trace. Now, friends and foes from her past are in a race against time to decipher cryptic messages she’s left behind; tales that paint a grim picture of technology run amok. As the mystery deepens, they’ll discover the stories, and Molly herself, may have been concealing information that could change the world, or destroy it.

DARK/WEB is the brainchild of Michael and Tim Nardelli, and Mario Miscione; creators of 2015’s cult hit CIRCLE. It’s been produced under the Nardellis’ FELT FILMS banner. The series is comprised of eight anthology segments, each dealing with different dangers of the tech age, connected by a serialized narrative uncovering the mystery behind Molly’s disappearance”

The cast for Dark/Web includes Sibongile Mlambo (Netflix’s Lost in Space, Teen Wolf), Clare Kramer (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Nicholas Brendan (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Julie Benz (Dexter), Hannah Marks (Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency), Gabriel Luna (Terminator: Dark Fate), Zelda Williams (Teen Wolf), Robert Davi (Goonies, Die Hard) Siobhan Fallon Hogan (Funny Games, Forrest Gump, Wayward Pines), Hayley Marie Norman (Top Five), Dora Madison (Friday Night Lights, Dexter), Molly Hagan (Big Little Lies, The Handmaid’s Tale), Cassie Thomson (The Alienist), Amin El Gamal (Prison Break revival), Lana McKissack (Transformers), Michael Nardelli (Circle, Revenge), Brian Elerding (Mad Men), and Noemi Gonzalez (Rosewood).

Keep an eye out here at LRM Online for more details regarding the panel date, time, and location in the near future, and don’t forget…we are all part of it…
