In Dating Amber, two teenagers, a closeted gay boy, and a lesbian friend, devised a way to avoid homosexual suspicions by pretending to be a couple.

The film stars Fionn O’Shea (Handsome Devil, Normal People), Lola Petticrew (A Bump Along the Way, Wolf), Sharon Horgan (Catastrophe, This Way Up), and Barry Ward (Jimmy’s Hall, The End of the F***ing World). David Freyne (The Cured, Passing) wrote and directed the movie.

It looks like a hilarious coming-of-age comedy. The premise is simple about closeted teens, love, and friendship. The setting is in Ireland during the mid-90s.

Dating Amber is available On Demand and digital on November 13.
