David Ramsey Set To Return To Arrowverse As Mystery Character

It would be only a matter of time before we saw David Ramsey come back to the Arrowverse (sorry I refuse to call it the CWverse). Deadline reported that David Ramsey will be coming back to direct and guest star in five episodes across the main shows.  They have confirmed that he will be reprising his role as John Diggle/Spartan in Superman & LoisSupergirlThe Flash, and Batwoman along with a mystery role in Legends of Tomorrow. He will also be acting as director for these shows as well.

This is not the first time Ramsey has donned the directors hat, he directed two episodes of Arrow during its eight season run.

With Ramsey coming back to the different shows it is safe to assume that he will play a part in the annual crossover event that incorporates all the DC/CW shows.  Last year crossover event was the Crisis on Infinite Earths which saw Oliver Queen sacrifice his life to save the universe and end the run as Arrow.

The series finale of Arrow saw John Diggle find an emerald ring as he was moving his family to Metropolis.  It is safe to assume that ring was worn by a Green Lantern.  There has been speculation for a long time that John Diggle’s real name is John Stewart and would eventually done the Green Lantern suit.

Over the seasons on Arrow, David Ramsey wore many suits as John Diggle.  He was the Arrow for some time while Oliver was away, he was also Spartan who would aid Arrow on his missions, and he also was an ARGUS agent during that time as well.  Now lets hope the next suit Diggle wears is green and black.

It look now like it will be just a matter of time before we get to see David Ramsey back on screen wearing the ring.
