Some DC news including The Batman Part II delayed again, Adria Arjona is NOT Wonder Woman after all, plus Xolo Maridueña’s Blue Beetle is back for Man of Tomorrow. Let’s get into it and we start with another delay for The Batman Part II.
The film has been delayed to February, 2028, check out some camera test footage of Pattinson in suit from director Matt Reeves, but sadly it confirms the delay as well.

Secondly, a rumor/turned news that a lot of DCU fans simply won’t want to hear. Hey, I’m half there with you on this, but folks a very reliable source is saying that Adria Arjona is NOT playing Wonder Woman in Man of Tomorrow, but Maxima after all.
This is a strange story to relay, but the long and short of it is this. Fans want Arjona to play Wonder Woman, only for her to be cast as Maxima according to trades. We then had what can only be called now, misread clues that this may not actually be the case. Fans rejoiced that Arjona may be playing Diana after all.
Well, nope. Not according to extremely reliable insider ApocHorseman. However, both Deadline and Variety reinforced their stance that Arjona is playing Maxima in the film soon after.

Damnit Gunn, what are you doing man? Man of Tomorrow better be a damn good film or Gunn’s DCU will be killed off faster than the SnyderVerse was at this rate. One barely profitable film in Superman which was divisive, one flop in Supergirl which was critically slammed and a low budget body horror movie about one of the more obscure Batman villains in Clayface. I’m struggling to care at this point and sadly for WB, so are audiences.
They need a hit.

Talking of Man of Tomorrow and it seems like DCEU Blue Beetle Xolo Maridueña is returning to the role within Man of Tomorrow. James Gunn always hinted that Maridueña wasn’t done as Blue Beetle, but I’m not sure anyone expected him to show up in Man of Tomorrow.
First off we had Daniel RPK claim Xolo was back for the film, this was then backed up by Nexus Point News, then TheWrap, and finally confirmed by Variety. Now that’s a trip along the entertainment industry food chain for you folks. Oh and he was also seen on set and this was confirmed quickly as well. I only added the Variety link because it’s the one that confirms it without a doubt. Here’s what they said.
‘Xolo Maridueña is set to reprise his Blue Beetle role in the “Superman” sequel “Man of Tomorrow.”’
‘The film, currently in production, will be directed by James Gunn. Maridueña first portrayed the character in the 2023 film “Blue Beetle,” directed by Angel Manuel Soto. Maridueña played Jaime Reyes, a recent college graduate who gains superpowers when an alien scarab latches on to him.’
One final little rumor for you, but Daniel RPK says that Peacemaker actress Brey Noelle will reprise her role as White Rabbit within Man of Tomorrow. It was not a big role in Peacemaker so who knows what role she will have in the film?
