DC Superheroes Ruin History In New Legends Of Tomorrow Trailer

The CW and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is probably the oddest and most offbeat superhero TV series ever. Combining an ever-evolving group of (at best) B-list characters (The Atom, Firestorm, White Canary, Steel, Vixen, Heat Wave, Isis, Rip Hunter) in a series of semi-connected time-travel adventures. It’s the kind of show where almost anything goes, like a trip to the Old West or Napoleonic France. The combination of a changing roster, interesting villains, and the show’s sense of humor has made this into something really different and cool.

Overall, it’s been a fun, if uneven, couple seasons. Unfortunately, the show has struggled to find viewers, pulling in just over 2.5 million viewers per episode. However, many critics and fans felt the show found its footing late last season during the team’s battle with the notorious Legion of Doom (Reverse Flash, Captain Cold, Damien Darhk, and Malcolm Merlyn).

The CW just released a trailer for the upcoming third season of Legends of Tomorrow. Apparently, the team somehow broke time and must figure out how to set things right. We’ve got dinosaurs in the downtown, King Arthur arrested on a weapons charge, and Julius Caesar hitting the beaches of Aruba. OK, that sounds like a pretty fun premise.
