DC Weekly: Getting You Ready For DC FanDome! Also BATFLECK!

Welcome to this week’s edition of DC Weekly. As you may have already heard DC is having a little event this weekend called DC FanDome. Here we are going to learn more about the films, television series, comic books, and video games on the Horizon for DC. It was going to be a one-day full 24-hour event happening this Saturday until they decided that fans may need a little more time to digest all this DC goodness.

DC FanDome

So they made a great move and split it into two days. The first will be this Saturday as planned and the second on September 12th. If your looking for the big movie news then be sure to tune in this Saturday! There will be panels for Wonder Woman 1984, The Batman, The Snyder Justice League Cut, Black Adam, SHAZAM!, The Suicide Squad, and Aquaman.

Now usually this kind of news is covered by Jace, host of The Comic Source, and I at conventions like WonderCon and San Diego Comic-Con. But since 2020 said no, I decided that for this week’s DC Weekly we would go down the schedule and talk about what we are most excited about instead of writing it. You can check it out above! Please be kind as we were testing out live-streaming.

Speaking of live-streaming! We are going to be doing a live stream this Saturday starting at 9:45am PST reacting to all the exciting news that is revealed at DC FanDome. Just join us by clicking the link below!

In other HUGE DC news this week it looks like we have THREE Batmans in the DCEU at the moment as it was revealed that Ben freaking Affleck is returning as Batman in the upcoming Flash film. Also returning in that film will be my favorite Batman, Michael Keaton. All, while we are anticipating awesome reveals this weekend from the newest Batman, Robert Pattinson. Given that it’s in a Flash film this could work. Hopefully, it doesn’t get too complicated. But Batman brings in revenue, which is what WarnerMedia really cares about anyway. They are definitely making The Flash a much more attractive film.
