According to one leaker, Deadpool & Wolverine is rumored to feature a resistance group against Cassandra Nova’s villain. That’s the latest claim on the Barside Buzz from MTTSH, who dropped the information for her subscribers. Yesterday we shared a series of rumors about potential characters who are rumored to show up in the film. You can catch all the details below in the related link.
However, MTTSH now claims that Gambit (Channing Tatum), X23 (Dafne Keen and/or Natalia Tena), Elektra (Jennifer Garner) and more are in this resistance group. This group are based in the void where it seems Nova is running things with an iron first. We already knew Nova would be the villain of Deadpool & Wolverine. However, it now appears like D&W meet up with this resistance movement in the film.
The leaker also said, you can see this one was posted publicly, Nova enjoys killing Professor X variants.

Cassandra Nova does feel like a decent villain and it seems from the trailers she is a good match for D&W. Those telekinetic powers really do help against brawlers like these two. Though, unlike her, I’m not sure Deadpool or Wolverine can really die. Therefore, no matter how many times she beats them up, they’re gonna keep coning back.
Though Alex P from TCC does seem to be hinting that Cassandra gets herself a Doctor Strange Sling Ring from defeating the sorcerer himself.

To be fair, if Nova has killed Strange previously, then it shows how powerful she really is.
