A larger news/rumor roundup on Daredevil: Born Again, we have the Season 2 runtimes and confirmation it’s set before Brand New Day, Season 3 has already begun filming and more besides. Let’s start with the news that Season 3 has already begun filming before Season 2 even releases. Great news, meaning we will get Season 3 in 2027.

Now we have a rumor from one of the best insiders around who says, sorry fans but there’s no Finn Jones Iron Fist happening in Season 2, but he will be back. Someone is being teased to drop in at the end of Season 2, but the insider is keeping quiet.

Pretty standard and what we’d expect from the show based on Season 1.
As for a timeline for Season 2, EP Sana Anamat said this in a recent interview.
“Yeah. I mean we’re trying to dance a little bit between the raindrops, but it’s fair to say that sort of the events that happen in S02 are before what happens in Spider-Man [Brand New Day]. And so, we’re being very careful about about the way that is. But there are some shared characters that go into Spider-Man. And that’s all I can say”
Again, it is expected but remember at one point in development Brand New Day was due out before Season 2 of Born Again.

In this interview, showrunner Dario Scardapane says the storyline of Born Again Season 2 is inspired from Back in Black and Devil’s Reign.
Meanwhile, when speaking with MovieWeb recently, Showrunner Dario Scardapane confirms that Matthew Lillard’s Mr. Charles is linked to Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Scardapane says Mr. Charles is “somebody who lives in the Val world”.
“So, building Mr. Charles as somebody who lives in the Val world, we wanted to make that connection. So, that’s why that’s on the other end of the phone call. For me, personally, away from everything MCU, I would love her to be part of our world. There’s a story in the back of my head I would love to tell you, but I don’t know, those choices aren’t mine.”
EP Anamat added,
“Yeah, it’s always nice to have that connective tissue, because you never know. So yes, as fans, we would love it.”
